Some good news on the job front for Irish citizens – Two firms have announced plans to create new jobs in Ireland between Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
Tech giant Microsoft Ireland plan to recruit 100 graduates and interns in Ireland. Roles include programme manager positions, sales opportunities, HR, Legal functions as well as financial and marketing positions. Microsoft HR Director Clodagh Logue has said;
“Each year we work with leading universities to identify the brightest and best talent and invite them to join us at Microsoft. Here they will have an opportunity to innovate, inspire change and join projects which will literally impact how people live and work. In addition, graduates who join us have the opportunity to build a career path that can lead them into different parts of our business – from operations, to development, to sales and marketing”.
Brightwater Recruitment announced a creation of 50 jobs in Dublin, Cork and Belfast. Over the past 18 months, Managing Director, David Bloch has seen a growing demand for recruitment services, allowing the company to create new roles for a number of consultants including IT, insurance, law, marketing and sales.
David Bloch recently said;
“The fact that we as recruiters are recruiting ourselves underpins the increasing recruitment demands and growing confidence in the Irish economy. While recruitment demands are increasing across the board, we are seeing a particular demand in the areas of IT, banking, legal, HR and office support”.
